Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about hyperbaric chambers for clinics.

Pressure, price, installation, requirements, lead times and customisation. If your question is not here, write to us.

What is a hyperbaric chamber?

It is a pressurised enclosure in which a person breathes oxygen or enriched air at a pressure above atmospheric pressure. It is measured in atmospheres absolute (ATA). It is a class IIb medical device under Regulation (EU) 2017/745.

Do you sell hyperbaric chambers to private individuals?

No. RE:ON sells to healthcare professionals, clinics, hospitals and distributors. The information on this website is intended for professionals.

What is the difference between 1.5 ATA and 2.0 ATA?

Pressure. Chambers up to about 1.5 ATA are considered low-pressure; rigid chambers of 2.0 ATA or more allow other protocols and have higher installation, staffing and licensing requirements. We explain it in the guide to choosing a chamber.

How much does a RE:ON hyperbaric chamber cost?

Each chamber is built to order, so the price depends on the model, format, finishes and service included. We send you a proposal within 24–48 business hours. For guidance, read what determines the price.

What does my clinic need to install a chamber?

A suitable room (floor area, access, flooring, ventilation, electricity and oxygen), a responsible physician, trained staff and the equipment included in the centre's healthcare licence. Details in the guide to requirements in Spain.

Do the chambers have CE marking?

Hyperbaric chambers are class IIb medical devices and require CE marking with the involvement of a notified body. Every RE:ON proposal includes the model's technical data sheet and documentation.

How much space does a chamber take up?

It depends on the format. A vertical one fits in a standard treatment room; a rigid horizontal one needs a dedicated room; a multiplace is a construction project. In the proposal we specify floor area, clear height, door width and floor load.

How long does manufacturing take?

It depends on the model and the customisation. The lead time is stated in each proposal and we plan the installation and training with you.

Does it include installation and training?

Yes. Every project includes transport, installation, commissioning and training for the medical and technical team, plus a maintenance plan.

Do you work outside Spain?

Yes. We work with centres in Europe and Latin America. In each country, the product's registration with the local health authority must be verified before sale.

Can I customise the finishes?

Yes. Exterior (pearl white, polished chrome, satin silver, graphite), leather interior, lighting, audio and video, illuminated plinth and engraving of the centre's logo. This is the Signature Edition.

Can I advertise the sessions to my patients?

Healthcare advertising aimed at the public is regulated and, depending on the case, requires prior authorisation from the regional government. Check with your adviser before advertising on social media or search engines.
